Nuix meets $100,000 fundraising target for Room to Read with philanthropic product Proof Finder.

Latest sales proceeds will fund two libraries in Delhi and 20 education scholarships for girls in India

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Tuesday June 12, 2013 —Nuix, a worldwide provider of information management technologies, today announced it has reached its fundraising target of $100,000 for Room To Read, with 1,000 sales of Proof Finder. Room to Read is a global non-profit organization that seeks to transform the lives of children throughout Asia and Africa by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education.

Proof Finder (www.prooffinder.com) is a sophisticated eDiscovery and investigation software tool which Nuix released in December 2011 as a philanthropic venture. Proof Finder is priced at only $100 per year, with 100% of the proceeds from all sales going to Room to Read. (www.roomtoread.org).

"“When we launched Proof Finder, we set an ambitious target of raising $100,000 for this worthy cause and I’m thrilled we have reached our first goal,” said Eddie Sheehy, CEO of Nuix. “We now look forward to raising another $100,000 and more through the generosity of Proof Finder customers worldwide.”

To date, Proof Finder sales have helped Room to Read and local communities build schools in Nepal and Sri Lanka, publish local-language school books and provide support for 30 girls to complete secondary education. With the funds raised since March 2013, Room to Read will establish two libraries in Delhi, India and provide a full year of secondary school education for 20 girls in India.

“India’s thriving industries make it a growing market for Nuix, but as a country we still face challenges with literacy and gender balance in education,” said Sanjay Parnandiwar, Country Manager for India at Nuix. “Since 2003, Room to Read has established nearly 5,000 libraries and supported 3,900 girls across India to finish their secondary education. We are very pleased that through Proof Finder, Nuix and our customers can contribute to this important work.”

Proof Finder matches many of the capabilities in Nuix’s eDiscovery and investigation products, but is limited to a maximum case size of 15 gigabytes. These features have seen the product gain wide use in the eDiscovery and investigation communities.

“We give a license for Proof Finder at Commencement to each graduate of our E-Discovery Project Manager Certificate program,” said William F. Hamilton, Dean and Chairman of the Department of E-Discovery at Bryan University.

“Nuix is an integral part of our boots-on-the-ground e-discovery education. We start our students on day one with Nuix to overcome “dataphobia” and to allow them to work with a powerful, yet visual and transparent e-discovery tool. After graduation we want our graduates to have Proof Finder in their e-discovery tool kit to continue to apply the skills they have learned.
